The Assertiveness course is aimed at people who have who have difficulty communicating their thoughts and feelings in a way that is clear and direct. This intervention runs once a week for 4 weeks and will explore the different communication styles, allowing you to understand and identify your own communication style and the effect this may have on your daily life. Over the 4 weeks we will focus on the potential barrier to becoming assertive and explore practical techniques and strategies to help you become more assertive in your daily life.
Assertiveness Group Aims:
- To gain a better understanding of assertiveness and your own communication skills
- To learn new skills and techniques which will enable you to become more assertive in your daily lives.
