Do I need help?

Anger can become a problem when it is over the top, lasts a long time or leads to problems in your life.

You may be having problems in your relationships, or at work, because of your anger, if you are struggling to stay in control of your angry reactions. You may be feeling bad about yourself because of the way you are feeling or reacting to situations and people.

When you have long term and intense anger you can develop mental health problems including depression and anxiety. Your physical health can be affected as well.e.g.

  • high blood pressure
  • colds and flu
  • coronary heart disease
  • stroke
  • cancer
  • gastro-intestinal problems
